The cipher
So in class we have been learning about pirates and what they use for coding. The objects that the pirates use for coding is called a cipher this helps with letters and numbers that are mushed together.
The pirates use a cipher because people could just listen to the code but if you use numbers and letters, the people will look at the note but not know what it says.
The hard thing about making a cipher is to know the codes that the person used because when I got to school everyone had already learnt how to use this cipher but I didn't so it was a challenge for me to get use to.
The easy thing about the cipher was making it because all we had to do was to write down the alphebet and taking out j&q, then after that I had to write the numbers which were easier.
thanks for reading
