Descritive writing

WALT:
- Use paragraphas to ink similar ideas together
- Write in structure, well developed paragraphs that flow well from one to the next within the text
- use linking words pharases to link paragraphs for effects

In class we had to descripe a man who was sitting in a dark room. So we had to use the five sences to make a paragraph. We drafted before we wrote. When I was writing this text it was really hard because you had to describe the man by using the five sences.

As the man was sitting in a cold damp room the only thing he could see was darkness when he looked out the window he saw people having a great time that was when he started to cry, so he closed his eyes and he saw nothing and that was the reason he was crying because he has nothing to care about. He kept his eyelids shut until he fell asleep.

Once he awoke he started to remember his past why he is here in this room. It was 1999 he was in prison for 4 years until he broke out but he forgot something of course his mates he would never leave them behind, well he did but only for 3 years. The reason why is because he was making a master plan an undercover cop trying to get his mates out of prison

  1. Great work Micah, I can see the link between your paragraphs. You have worked hard on this and you have used similar ideas in each paragraph. If you completed the senses chart, that would help you use descriptive words to help paint a picture in the reader's head. Keep up the great effort!

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
