In class we have been reading about Saint Maximilian Kolbe and Father francis vemon douglas. When we have finished reading about these two people we had to create a DLO about them and what they have done. What Saint Maximilian did was he sacrifice his life for a man he didn't know, but he had a family so he sacrifice his life for this man. The things that was easy about this task was the reading because I could go back to the reading and get some ideas. But something that was difficult was trying to think about the question and answering them because sometiems I didn't understand the question or I ran out of ideas for the question. I had fun making a DLO about Saint Maximilian Kolbe and I hope I can do more.

Saint Maximilian
In class we have been reading about Saint Maximilian Kolbe and Father francis vemon douglas. The ANZAC violin
WALT: Use descriptive language
In class we have been reading this book, the title was the ANZAC violin it was about this man his name was Alexander Aitken, he was carrying around this violin through out his hole time in the war. After we had read the book our teacher said to us to go and make a diary entry for one of the parts in the book, so what we did on the first day was we created a attrbutes charts for our writing. then later on we started to create our diary entries. The part I chose in the book was when he was laying down wounded, that stood out for me because I thought it could be really good for a diary entry. Something that was easy about this writing was getting ideas and putting them into my diary entry. But something that was difficult about doing this diary was thinking of ideas because I had trouble thinking of some more ideas.
As I lay wounded, the sounds of gunfire surround me as I quickly crawl to the trench. As I lay down in the dusty trench, blood starts gushing out of my clothes and as I’m screaming I start to hear commands to fire or move, as the commands get called a bomb blows off nears us after 10 minutes or so I start to open my eyes and as I open them my vision gets blurry but as I’m looking around I see comrades on the ground dead. As I struggle to get up shots are flying past me and hitting the dirt, I start to limp I struggle

first day at tech
Today me and my class (room 6) bussed to Hornby high school for tech. We did a lot of cool activities.
The thing I enjoyed the most was science, because there was a machine that created electricity and the machine had two wires that had crocodile kinda things on it that two people had to hold, the other people had to hold hands and as the machine is making electricity it goes from the machine to the two people and it passes on to the next person like a chain, so when the person who was turning the handle to make electricity it shoked the people harder, it was funny but painful to see the people getting shoked.
The activity that was hard for me was design tech because of the squeeking it made when you were cutting it or even file the object, but it was fun but not when we were cutting because it would squeek a lot and it got annoying to my friend caleb went to grab some earmuffs to block out the sound but me I had to live with it, now I think I'm hearing things. But it was fun designing my own key chain.
Something I would do differently in my design is to add more detail into it or more writing on it because right now it just looks boring because it is just the object with nothing on it, so I wish I could change the design into a different shape or a type of animal e.g dog, cat and more.
I had fun at tech today and I can't wait to do more of the activities that will be coming up, I just hope that me and room 6 will keep on behaving well and have fun together as a class.

SLJ Activity 3: The Columbian Exchange
Before I say this amazing persons name I need to tell you the detail it is pretty good. So he is a good runner in rugby and he can tackle like Jonah Lomu thats what everyone says, he has been there for me 24/7 I remember when me and him where gaming with eachother and we still do. But before I tell you this persons name I would like to thank God for creating him and putting him in my life, the persons name is Tama he is funny sometimes and he is annoying but he is my brother from another mother and nothing will get in between us.

How deep is the sea
WALT:think critically when looking at information in different texts.
So my group was reading how deep is the sea, then after we had read the text our teacher sent us off to finish our reading activities but the one activity that she wanted us to finsh and blog was the infographic. If you don't know what a infographic is it has pictures, diagrams and more. What I enjoyed about that were the facts because they really were interesting and at the end of the text it left a question. How deep is the sea? Something that was hard was thinking of what other facts am i going to put in. facts to put down into my infographic
